Sinofobia? Carelessness?...

Not only US is concerned about the kill-switch threat. Some Asian countries choose European cellular network equipment manufacturer, even if it costs a few pennies more:
"While Huawei provides equipment for Telenor Norway, the telecommunications company has chosen Ericsson as their global provider of a new five-year framework. The companies had previously signed an agreement for radio projects in Myanmar, Thailand and India. The agreement includes equipment and services for 2G, 3G and 4G networks and multi standard base stations in RBS6000 series, which can operate with all standards (GSM, WCDMA and LTE)."
It is hard to beileve that Telenor would install more expensive Ericsson equipment if not being forced by local authorities to avoid (cheaper) Chinese alternatives. Still Norwegian 3G network is 100% "made in China". So, what is it then, a sinofobia of Myanmar, Thailand and India or Norwegian carelessness?
